sponse to the intensifying competition of the world electronics manufacturing industry today, Foxconn intends to address the important bottlenecks in its corporate development reflected in the following aspects, so as to optimize the process, relieve the pressure of rising labor costs, improve the management level and production efficiency, reduce the cost increase caused by sluggish inventory of materials, and meet the refined requirements of high-end customers for product traceability:

1. Through the heterogeneous system connection platform, the SAP, MES, QMS and other systems are effectively integrated to unblock the system data flow; through the IOT platform, automatic collection and reverse control of production site equipment data is realized;

2. Mobile terminal, electronic kanban and intelligent reports are adopted to realize real-time transparent display of data and accurate analysis and decision-making;

In combination with the lean production concept, RCES is used to optimize the original PCBA manufacturing process from 23 processes to 13 processes; 10 job processes, including line warehouses removing, material completion, bulk material counting, warehouse exit, and online manual verification, are canceled, achieving a simplification rate of 43%, as shown below:

   
   

1. Through intelligent production switchover and process optimization, 90 employees have been reduced; according to the average pay of RMB 7,500/month, about RMB 8.1 million/year can be saved;

2. The turnover time of electronics raw materials has been shortened from 15.9 days to 10.74 days on average;

3. "Material preoccupied" is canceled through completion analysis, reducing WIP by over RMB 8 million a year.
